I attempted to visit this restaurant with my family around 2:30 PM on a Saturday. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated and placed our drink orders with the manager, who brought us water 10 minutes later and told us that someone would come to take our order soon. We noticed that people who arrived after us were getting their orders taken right away. After waiting for 30 minutes, we still hadn't been able to order our food or the Pepsi drinks we requested. I can only attribute this disappointing experience to the management's failure to provide an adequate number of staff. This is only the third restaurant I've ever walked out of in my life.
I ordered a Super Big Boy burger, and it was quite meaty. I would suggest opting for the Big Boy instead, as it would have been more enjoyable than just tasting ground beef. We took our food to go, so it wasn’t as good as it would have been if we had dined in. The service was pretty decent, with plenty of staff on hand. Although my order was incorrect, I arrived just before closing time. Overall, the food was good, the atmosphere was nice, and I would recommend eating there rather than getting it to go.
My grandson absolutely loves this place, and I really enjoy taking him there. The food and service are consistently excellent. It has a wonderful hometown vibe.
So sad to see a life long favorite restaurant so totally unfit to have a repeat visit. I know changes are happening nationwide in many restaurants but it's just so sad that my grandkids can't enjoy what I enjoyed so many times.
