Bamboo Walk
Description
**Restaurant Review: Bamboo Walk**
Bamboo Walk offers a vibrant Caribbean dining experience, highlighted by its lively ambiance and friendly service. While many patrons rave about the flavorful dishes like bamboo pasta and traditional Caribbean options such as crab cakes and tasso, others express disappointment in inconsistent food quality and seasoning. The drinks are generally well-received, matched by a welcoming atmosphere perfect for celebrations. However, concerns about high prices and poor service persist among some guests. Despite mixed reviews regarding food and pricing, the energetic vibe and enjoyable decor make it a destination worth considering for those seeking a lively brunch or dinner.

Walked in, thought it was a nice ambience that’s about the only thing good. Our server was playing the role of hostess and our inattentive waitress. We had a 7pm reservation and I was already aware that we just missed happy hour but we sat and she brings us the menus then comes back and says we’re actually doing happy hour now and takes the regular menu and replaces it with happy hour menus. I was shocked maybe they extended happy hour idk. We place our order then she comes back and says unfortunately happy hour is over so I can’t put your order in. Ok fine. So we order drinks and appetizers then so comes back and takes our dinner order. The main dishes come out and my friend who ordered the pineapple chicken keeps looking at her food so I’m like you good what’s wrong? She’s like something is wrong with this chicken, one it was a whole half chicken so she asked the waitress if they can cut it up for her the response was unfortunately no because that’s how the chicken is served. So I ask ok can she at least have a knife so she can do it herself. The knife comes and she attempts to eat it. The driest over cooked chicken ever and the fact that they drowned it in sauce to try and cover it up. So we asked if the chicken can just be swapped out for a new piece and was told no because that’s how it comes. Asked to speak with a manager at first he tried to say they don’t take meals back until we got a little aggressive and said you try it yourself the meat is way over cooked and can’t be chewed so he agreed to take it back and then comes back and says you’re right it is over cooked and offered us to order something else. She wanted to order the shrimp risotto that I had only for the waitress to come back and say oh we don’t have anymore of that. So at this point it’s frustration so just forget don’t want anything. The manager comes back and says oh we’re going to make a fresh batch would you like to wait for it to be made we just said no forget it don’t want anything
It was a cozy and comfortable experience, especially with celebrating my mother's birthday. The food was well portioned and delicious! I hope to go there again.
Great experience with service and the food was also very tasty and good portions. We had the brunch but wood love to try the dinner.
Beautiful atmosphere I can tell they put a lot of thought into the overall presentation of the space and aesthetic of the staff, incredible. however I must say the food is lacking quality and is a bit low vibrational in comparison to the cost. I would suggest a return to fresh vegetables and higher quality ingredients across the board.
