Baked in Brooklyn- iconic with a name that’s simple yet couldn’t be more true. Baked in Brooklyn is always where it’s at. I enjoy coming here with my partner once in a while. I wish it could be more but when I do visit, I always enjoy their delicious hazelnut latte which by the way, comes with a free pastry. You get a nice breakfast for $6. The employees are always super kind, quick to get your order in and patient t... View all feedback.
What Nico Pistellato doesn't like about Baked In Brooklyn:
How does a NYC bagel place fail to toast their bagels for you, every single time, even when you ask them to (sometimes twice, cuz you know they’ll forget)? I give up. They only have plain cream cheese anyway. Stick to buying bread here. View all feedback.
I wish there was a better bagel store nearby. So lame. No receipts. Apple Pay not working. No flavors to any of their bagels, bread.
Everything is fresh and the bread and pastries are all made in house. You can literally see and smell them baking everything, which is both interesting and satisfying. I enjoyed a sugared donut and a Chicken Avocado sandwich. Both were tasty, the donut would been nicer warmed but it was still soft and good. The sandwich was very tasty but I did wish there was a little more sauce or more mayo as it was a touch dry for me. Did not enjoy the bottle pink lemonade, didn't taste much like lemonade at all to me. Overall I would visit again and I will definitely come here to pick up fresh bread. I will give them a 4.7 rating.
I went for a walk while in the neighborhood and while I was taking stroll I saw this place! Now, I am quite familiar with their products. I have lived all across the US and have purchased their goods in Whole Foods and various markets. I am one of those hardcore Brooklyn raised people who notice all things Brooklyn especially when I am far from home. So I was quite pleased to stumble across their location while out for a random walk. Their self serve coffee is very good it was not labeled but was a robust flavored medium roast. I think it is the best self serve coffee I have purchased. They also grind it right there. You can watch the bakers work through glass as you get your coffee. The staff is friendly and engaging. They make cakes, small pastries, cupcakes and the yummy pita bread, pita chips (my favorite with tuna) and of course loaves of bread!!! I will return for the sandwiches so can’t honestly comment on those.
Fresh baked breads and pastries. I love their PoP Tarts and multi grain bread. They also make excellent breakfast sandwiches. The coffee is very good also. Get there early because almost every pastry is gone by 2 pm.
I've gone pass BAKED IN BROOKLYN several times and decided I have to go in and see what they are all about. There is a large array of different kinds/choices of fresh baked breads, breakfast choices, other items to eat and bake goods along with a special of buying a drink and get a free pastry. What I loved the most and was truly impressed with,is the ATTENTION that they give their customers. I didn't feel pressured or rushed as I was placing and deciding on my choices for my order. The Female Manager and gentlemen that took my order were very attentive, someone from behind the counter came and personally gave me my cappuccino.... So I'LL BE RETURNING just for the service alone as well as the food. (Lol) By the way the food and drinks were good.
