Applebee's - Brooklyn

Wing last week for lunch there. we have starved and ordered a lot of food! our waitress, they do not know their names, but she was short, thin, dark skin woman with a mole under her eye, let us wait for an hour. she didn't even care to come by and give us updates. When I asked her if she could check, she always said she didn't know and was very dismissed. she said, then she will check with the kitchen, but 20 minutes later just past us without attention. I don't think I've ever gotten so bad from service and server in my life. she kept ignoring us, so we went. nicer way to ruin a business.

Ordered fish chips and it was burnt and greasy. The manager insisted that keep it the way it is or I change my order because he wasn’t going to use new grease to fry the fish

From the start we saw bad signs. They told us it was a 15 min wait to get a table when they had plenty of tables clear and available. After pushing to get a table. We got one right away.(hmmm) then we waited on other 10-15 min of staff walking by us 3-4 times. After watching the manager bark a orders at his staff we just had to ask the manager when we will be served. He told us the bartender would serve us but then he realized she was too busy as well as the rest of his staff while he was playing boss man .He seemed to have come to his senses and took out order in which we waited another 30min.When we got our food the chicken penne was watery but the price was good.FEEDBACK: when you are under scheduled get in the mud with your team instead of delegating and letting them carry the load alone! Terrible service, we were sitting for a while before anyone actually greeted us. We can understand your busy but at least let us know you see us and you’ll be right with us. When we tried to reach out to a waiter they said “you gotta give me a moment” very rude I love tipping servers and I love tipping my black people even more but I left nothing because for that type of experience I would have rather stayed home. Smile and say please and thank you, that’s it. I’m gonna assume they pay well and y’all don’t need the tips cause y’all don’t work for it

Straight garbage, the service, the food, and the venue is always dirty and cluttered. 4 trips there and always the same outcome. The last and final time I ate there, a friend and I had different safe items on the menu only be disappointed with sodium as the main ingredient in both meals. I packaged the leftovers because I don't like to waste anything, by the time we made it home the food had an odd smell(like it had started to spoil). The wild part is both me and my friend had the BGs, stomachs on a 100 even though we did not share our meals with each other?. Pick your poison wisely. Never again........
