Don't be deceived by the location! One of the amazing things about NYC is discovering hidden gems in unexpected spots. Ange Noir is a charming little place right in the heart of industrial Brooklyn. They served me an Irish coffee that was a total lifesaver for my hangover, along with a delectable ham and cheese crepe. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to enjoy more food and drinks! What Maya Sharon doesn't like about Ange Noir Cafe:
The sandwiches at this place are decent, though I found them to be a bit too bready for my liking. There are some good options available, however. Just a word of advice: avoid the matcha latte. After the tip, it was nearly $8 and I found it nearly impossible to drink. We went for breakfast ordered a pretzel bun sand which and lattes and everything was delicious. The lavender latte was especially great. We sat in the restaurant/bar area vs. the cafe section up front, and service was great. The waitress was incredibly nice. The restaurant decor is extremely cute and has amazingly intricate details. I highly recommend!
The server who took care of us was incredibly friendly! She assisted us with directions and recommendations for things to see in the area. The sandwich and bagel we ordered were excellent, and the coffee was great too. As you can see from the photos, the decor is really unique, featuring all sorts of vintage phone booths. This is definitely a place to check out when you're in Bushwick!

This is a fantastic place that's almost hidden away on the block. The interior decor has a vibe similar to that of a classic comedy club or poetry venue. And the food—wow, you absolutely have to try the Bushwick. I highly recommend it! The portions are quite generous as well. I definitely need to sample more items from the menu the next time I’m in the area.
Place is peacefull and the attention is good. Good place to enjoy your coffee breakfast and work on some business or study some.
