Amy Thai Bistro - Brooklyn

We come to Amy Thai all the time for food. We love the food however we were disappointed with the service today at about 2 PM. When paying our bill the machine didn’t work so our tip didn’t go through. The waiter then entered a tip on her own (the amount not approved by us) and pressured us to pay that tip. we always tip for good food and service but to force somebody to pay a certain tip is not fair and frankly ruined the experience for us.

Had a date here recently and the food is excellent! Great service and it's very cute inside. Highly recommend the curry puffs, drunken noodles, and basil udon. I got the basil udon with tofu and it's awesome but quite spicy perhaps order a side of rice! We will be coming back for sure :

Best Thai food I’ve ever had. Amy’s has quickly become my favorite restaurant and over the past two years I’ve eaten here at least 20 times. Always consistent whether you dine in or do takeout or delivery. Great prices. I recommend the Penang Curry. Amy’s is special.

Great food, drinks, atmosphere. Just ask for your drinks and appetizers to come out before your main meal as one main course came out, then appetizers, then drinks, and the rest of the main courses. Otherwise we had a great time!

Small intimate setting, great service. Their lemonade is top tier. My cousin and I ordered off of their Amy specialties menu which came with great size portions. I recommend their pork chops and ginger egg fried rice.Kid-friendliness: We brought my new born nephew and they made sure that we were comfortable with our seating.
