Was Julie K at Ammazzacaffè a mag?
We came for dinner and the servers were friendly in guiding us in. The vibe is cozy and relaxing with the dim light restaurant. We ordered the coppa and three pasta dishes. It took awhile for the food to come but the portion size for the pastas are big and the coppa was delicious as it was seasoned very well. When we left, all the staffs greeted us goodbye. Definitely would recommend the pastas here! View all feedback.

What Rayelle C dislikes about Ammazzacaffè:
The bread was great to me--flavorful and chewy, but my partner didn't love it. I don't eat olives, but the olive oil at the bottom of the little bowl filled with olives was amazing. Drinks were good, pasta was excellent. The reason for only 3 stars was that despite having a reservation, we had to wait for our table, then it took about an hour to get our food. The wait was rough. Plus the dining room is small and the... View all feedback.

You must try the duck, it's a delicious experience. It takes an hour to cook, so meanwhile I recommend you order something like the homemade pasta, the pancetta or the burrata. Don't be shy and ask to the waiter waitress the wine option for the meal, maybe you will surprise.

Ate here tonight with a friend. Fantastic pasta dishes, great appetizer and salad and nice selection of beers, wine and mixed drinks. It's a hip restaurant with a lovely outdoor garden. I'll definitely grab a bite here again. Since it was evening the food pictures sadly are a bit dark.

We ordered burrata and two dishes of pastas, one of them was Gemelli Verde, which was the best pasta I have in 2022, and please don’t get me wrong, I eat out at Italian restaurant often! However, the bartender who was our waiter (we sat at the bar) with a huge beard wasn’t nice at all until he handed our check maybe because he suddenly remembered that he still needs tips. All other people who work there are super nice.

Honest Review of Ammazzacaffè Atmosphere Service: 10/10 We grabbed a late 10 PM Saturday night Resy and the space still felt welcoming. The bar was spotless, the decor stylish but comfortable, and the service was excellent. Josh was warm, attentive, and service never felt rushed. Presentation on every dish was elegant and thoughtful. Starters : 9/10 • Sunchoke $22): Beautiful salt-baked prep with hazelnut pesto, yogurt, and apple. Creative, layered, and earthy. • Barbabietole $19): Roasted beets with smoked ricotta and pickled figs. Gorgeous on the plate, subtle on the palate. It was balanced but leaned more refined than bold. Mains : 8.5/10 • Cavatelli $30): Crab, corn, Sungold tomato, coral butter. Fresh, seasonal, and well-executed. It was light yet rich, a summer-forward pasta. • Linguini $30): Cockle clams with ramp pesto and yuzu kosho. Briny and bright, with a nice pop of citrus. Well-made but didn’t quite deliver a “wow” factor. Drinks : 8/10 • Hazy Tropics $17): Tropical, refreshing, and slightly smoky. A solid cocktail. • Espresso Martini $17): Smooth and well-balanced. As expected, no complaints. Value : 8/10. Subtotal: $135. With tax tip: $179.32. For two people, it’s on the pricier side, but aligned with Williamsburg dining standards. Overall Impression : 8/10. Ammazza Café delivers excellent service, gorgeous plating, and a stylish, clean setting. The food was thoughtfully prepared, but none of the dishes quite leapt off the table as unforgettable. Still, it left us wanting to return and explore more of the menu. A great dining experience. The experience was elegant, and enjoyable, even if the food didnt completely blow us away.
