Excellent service with very friendly staff and delicious food. We dined on the rooftop and enjoyed the beautiful views. For drivers, street parking is available, but allow a few extra minutes to find a good spot. We ordered the short ribs, which came in a generous portion, ceviche, and a shrimp dish. The menu is simple but offers high-quality dishes. There’s a great selection of Mezcal, though I didn’t particularly e... View all feedback.
What Lon Marvin dislikes about Alma:
I've been visiting Alma on and off for many years, and my experiences have varied depending on the staff present. It seems that ownership may have changed recently. View all feedback.
I have always enjoyed coming to alma. The food is fantastic super fresh the tortillas are top quality. All their sauces are delicious and they have some pretty vegetarian friendly items that are super delicious if you're interested. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. Be sure to reserve the rooftop ahead of time it's well worth it.
The views are unreal. Truly a Brooklyn local favorite. I got the mushroom enchiladas and they were incredible. Great service. A must for a sunset watch in great weather. They have a retractable awning as well so it's great even if it's raining.
All i can say is eeeeh . Literally everything was so so blah. The food was cold, the chips were stale.the salsa was ok. The tortilla seem homemade so that was nice. The nachos had a odd tasting cheese, like plastic ish. Rice and bean cream is 10 dollars. You get such an a small amount of rice that my 3yr old wanted more. The rooftop is uneventful, is literally big windows that are opened. They do have a lot of outdoor seating. I tried making reservations online but itwas booked . Still decided to go in and it was pretty empty.
