Lovely place in Brooklyn. Dining with on Hungarian, one Irish and two kiwis. Staff are awesome. Menu is small but accommodates all tastes and preferences. Granola is superb for breakfast/brunch. Has the Bologna sandwich with Brooklyn Lager, sensational. Staff were so good, attentive and not overbearing. Excellent menu knowledge and helpful. So glad we stopped by. What Einar Becker dislikes about Agi's Counter:
I visited the restaurant after a run and indulged in a delicious hot chocolate to fulfill my craving for something sweet. I was not disappointed at all. Despite initially thinking that the price of $8 was a bit high, the hot chocolate was so delicious that it was worth it. While it is still a bit pricey, I would definitely order it again. Delicious! delicious! delicious! such a sweet spot for a date night. they serve only on Wednesday Friday for dinner. make reservations to ensure a place. there were no open tables, but still a very intimate mood. the food was from this world! I highly recommend trying the müll as an appetizer. seriously so delicious. I also had the pork collar. the glazing of pork was good watering! they must save space for dessert. we had the cheesecake and the parlament donut! yum!

Came here for Sunday brunch and was thrilled! the room is super cozy and cute I love the front room that is bathed in sunlight. they can also sit on the side counter and observe how the baristas do their magic. eating is just the right part to try a little anything because they want to happen? I want to come back for more! we ordered the pogasca, thunfischmelt, dressed deviled eggs, hash browns and donuts (which are only available on Sundays). pogasca cheesy, soft, savory biscuit filled with a casual fried egg, dill and cheddar. I loved every bite of this tuna melt light and well balanced thunfish salat (earthy sellerie juicy thunfish) between 2 slices beautiful roasted brot. you know, outside crack, soft on the inner sidehash browns super crispy and super thin strips of kartoffel on the top of the thick acidic cream and scalion tapes. I usually prefer a commercialized hashbrown texture (Dink-Mcdonalds), but that was also so good! above all the acidic sawn. nothing too special, but who loves no devastated egg? hopefully you are in dill! donuts (butter and jam on the side) warm and cozy. like a small hug in mouth. the teig itself is very padded. yeast, but more like a ignet than a krispy kreme donut. if you are like me and dessert that are not too sweet, is the divine. coffee ice cream fizz carbonated cream coffee. the server said it was a NYC classic? I have never heard of it? and fizzy coffee is not a taste/textur combination that I ever expected, but as a previously uninitiated, it is strange. but good. mimosa is a good standard mimosa!

This place is enchanting and eating is delicious. for brunch and ordered a few things to share, including the ferdinand bread, breakfast sandwich, hash brown and crepe. the hash browns have stolen the show! super thin, crispy kartoffel with scalions and acidic looked underneath, so addictive.

Incredible…. Loved the Hungarian donuts (superb), the Ferdinand morning bun, and the coffee cake (made with rum soaked prunes and some rye) — everything here was truly excellent, and the staff was so friendly, especially the nice woman at the cashier who helped us decide between pastries (we ended up just ordering everything). We are picky and we highly recommend this place. The interior decorating is charming and well done, making the vibe cozy and vintage in an unpretentious, authentic way. Makes for such a fun breakfast/brunch

Nestled in the heart of Crown Heights, this charming restaurant offers a delightful blend of exceptional cuisine and warm ambiance. Diners rave about the extensive menu, which boasts standout dishes like the Müsl and perfectly glazed pork collar. Brunch favorites include crispy hash browns and breakfast sandwiches, while the decadent desserts, such as cheesecake and the Parliament donut, are must-tries. The attentive staff enhances the experience, providing friendly service and valuable guidance on the menu. Although it can get busy, the vibrant decor and inviting atmosphere make it a perfect destination for anything from casual meals to intimate date nights.

Consistently excellent food and service. The menu is updated regularly to keep things interesting, but they always have reliable favorites like the caraway caesar and tuna confit melt that never disappoint. Big thanks to the Agi's team for consistently delivering great meals.

I arrived at the restaurant around noon and found it to be completely full with a long waitlist, so I decided to leave. However, I did manage to order a sajtos pogácsa filled with egg, which was absolutely delicious. I regret not being able to try more of their dishes.

Had an amazing meal near Brooklyn Museum. I can't wait to return! We even spotted Spike Lee at his exhibit.

Small local eatery in Brooklyn. Intimate atmosphere with the dim lighting and limited seating. Recommend that you make a reservation. Really friendly staff that is knowledgeable about the menu. Food and wine were both delicious. I ordered the dinner special, the wild boar with berry reduction sauce. The wassermann franc red wine paired well with the main. To share, we had the summer squash. And my friend ordered the confit tuna melt. Very delicious and nicely toasted on the bread. A bit pricey of a dinner for two, but definitely a worthwhile experience. Really delicious food at a affordable price. Some of the dishes are beyond imagination, they’re not only great but they’re also creative and different to the typical brunch we all used to. Meal type: Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
