I can't rate the food because I just went in for drinks. I liked the vibe of this place. You can tell it's a neighborhood bar/restaurant but they are very welcoming. The place was full but not crowded. The space is medium but comfortable and there is plenty of outside seating. The bartender, Marcus, was very pleasant and so was the rest of the staff. Whenever I go to Abilene I get the Classic burger with onion rings.
I didn't try the food, but I enjoyed the atmosphere at this neighborhood bar/restaurant. It was full but not crowded, with comfortable medium-sized seating and plenty of outdoor options. The bartender, Marcus, was friendly, as were the rest of the staff. The music was alright, though all from the same group. The prices for drinks were reasonable. I plan to return and sample the food next time.
We visited this fantastic neighborhood bar three times during our week-long vacation in the area. The servers were friendly, the drinks were great, and the food was decent. Give it a try!
