I stopped by for a quick dinner just before closing time, and I can see why this place has such a great reputation. The atmosphere was fantastic - perfect for groups of friends or a cozy first date. Despite arriving late, the service was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious - the burger in a pita was a unique but tasty twist, and the portion was very filling. I couldn't finish all the fries! My friend l... View all feedback.
The food was tasty and overall the experience was great. We went in the evening with our six-year-old child, who had trouble finding something on the menu. It's a wonderful place for adults, but I deducted a star because of the limited options for kids.
We had breakfast at this restaurant, which offers a mix of Middle Eastern cuisine and traditional American dishes.
12 Chairs Cafe is a top-notch restaurant with five-star service! Traveling from Los Angeles to Brooklyn, New York, we heard about 12 Chairs Cafe in Williamsburg. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and inviting, and the service was exceptional. We dined for dinner and the food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and flavorful. I typically enjoy hamburgers, but upon the waiter's recommendation, I tried the lamburger and it was of top quality with great taste. My burger was cooked perfectly medium rare and paired wonderfully with hummus and cauliflower on the side. My wife opted for a customized Greek salad without tomatoes, which was full of flavor. The sides such as Labne, matbucha salad, beets salad, and tabouli salad were all delicious. The next morning, we returned for breakfast and enjoyed a delicious shakshuka with Israeli style sides, including various Israeli salads, olives, olive oil, feta cheese, and the perfect schug. A highlight of our evening was a special visit from Rotem, the cafe manager, who introduced herself at our table. The desserts were delightful, especially the baklava that Rotem kindly provided. It truly felt like a Tel Aviv experience. We plan to visit the Soho location of 12 Chairs Cafe next time we're in New York. We absolutely love it and will make it a point to return every time we visit the city. Thank you for a memorable experience! - Amir from LA
Amazing place for shared plates! Everything was delicious. Lamb burger is incredible. For the small plates, the tahini falafel, beet salad, tabouli and tomatoes cucumbers were my favorite! Pierogis were also so good!!
It's just ok, a bit pricey. 8 bucks for a lemonade filled with ice. Staff was friendly.
