Was Marietta C at City Acres Market a mag?
A pretty cool supermarket with all the cool things! The best mix of all worlds with the healthiest finds and just a cool layout. I love all the dietary accommodations in this little market, especially their large variety of meatless options and prepared meals. Things are for sure priced more like a Whole Foods market but you're going to get the organization, quality and beyond from this. Make sure to check out their o... View all feedback.

What Kurt Ralske dislikes about City Acres Market:
Great selection, great produce. But: they don’t put price tags on items, or on the shelves. You have no idea what your total cost will be, it’s always a surprise when you’re rung up. Also, items marked sale on the shelf are rung up at the regular non-sale price. This is a frustrating experience, for any working person on a budget. Almost a deal-breaker for me. View all feedback.

Overpriced, nasty staff. Go to Whole Foods instead.

Great selection but this place doesn’t have it together. No price labels on half the stuff. And when there is a label, they often end up charging you a vastly different price at the checkout counter, I can only assume that this is on purpose given how many times it’s happened to me (5+ . Today I went for tomatoes at $1.99/lb and was rung up at $5.49/lb. Once I pointed it out, no issue, but given that this is a regular occurrence I’d suggest you keep very close eyes on the labeled price vs. register. Or just go somewhere else like Trader Joe’s or Wegman’s, which aren’t terribly far.

On several occasions I have made it home to discover that the item I just bought is expired. Most recently, I purchased some chicken that was supposedly still fresh and let 's just say I had to toss it out immediately. I 'm pretty sure they are relabeling the expiration on the meat. To top it off, they are way overpriced. People still shop here because it 's the nearest grocery store, but I rather go out of my way to a more reliable grocery store.

The restaurant offers some products that resonate with my Latin heritage, and overall, my experience was satisfactory. However, I found the prices to be a bit on the high side.

Nice little supermarket. I think it's part of the key food chain. They have some variety,

It is a really modern and organized supermarket with a good selection of products and brands, they do also have a vegan section for meat alternatives. It is not far away from my apartment, which is why I enjoy going there from time to time to grab a few things. Although I loved the City Acres in LIC, I would not recommend this one. It has a lot of products where the prices aren't even displayed, and some products are long passed their expiration date. You can scroll through the reviews, other ppl have mentioned it too. There are way cheaper supermarkets nearby as well, like Trader Joe's or local convenient stores. For a bigger selection, I can recommend walking a few blocks more to Wholefoods.

Fruit is overpriced and overripe. If fruit is overripe, it's good business to lower the price.....A LOT
