Absolutely awful. The service was slow and inattentive. The food was mediocre at best, except for the cheesecake which was inedible (and I love cheesecake). The prices were high, the wait was ridiculously long, and the portions were tiny. They didn't even offer us a piece of bread to snack on while we waited for our meals. The whole experience was so pretentious. I'm not sure what others have experienced here, but this was one of the worst restaurant visits I've ever had.
The menu is really pretentious and pretty unrelated with what you will find in your plate. For $90/person you can get much better than that in Boston area.
The service was incredibly slow (but friendly). In two and a half hours they managed to prepare 2 tables on each side of us in the time that it took to prepare about 10 ounces of food for our meal (the production of an appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert). The food was very good when it arrived, but for the price and size of the portions there is no way to go back.
I had been wanting to try this restaurant for some time, but I was a bit disappointed by the food - nothing really stood out to me. The tables were also quite close together. It's a charming place with diverse menu options, but for the price, I would prefer to dine somewhere with more memorable dishes.
I wanted to like Ribelle. But the ambiance was that of a noisy cafeteria. The food was ok, nothing remarkable. And the waitstaff screwed up my friend's drink order after listening intently to her ordering a specific vodka martini, they made it with vermouth. We had to essentially shout at each other over the noise of the other diners. Very disappointing.
