Was Anonym at Otto a mag?
I visited this restaurant while on campus and had the chance to enjoy a gluten-free and vegan cheese pizza to suit my dietary needs. I also tried a regular pepperoni pizza. Both pizzas were tasty, but I found the allergen-free option to be particularly delightful. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Otto:
BU orders this for our events, but honestly, this pizza is among the worst I've ever tasted. They struggle to make a good pizza. I get that they use trendy ingredients and it's creative to have a squash pizza, but that's just a pizza sin, and the novelty will fade fast. View all feedback.

Honestly, this isn't the best pizza place around. The shop is quite small, with limited seating, making it more of a grab-and-go spot. The service was quick, and the staff member was friendly. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza, which was reasonably priced for its size, but it didn't taste very fresh. It felt like the slices had been sitting out for a while. I likely won't be coming back.

The pizza here is exceptionally fresh and gluten-free. The service is prompt and friendly. It's a fantastic place for people-watching, conveniently located right across from Harvard.

**Thin Crust**: As a lover of thin crust pizza, I find Otto's gets it just right. The harmony of sauce, cheese, and dough is impeccable. It doesn't come off as just bread smothered in toppings, nor does it feel like a watery sauce with a mere sprinkle of cheese. The thin crust allows all the flavors to come through without being overwhelming. **Creative Flavors**: While Otto's has classic selections like Margherita and Pepperoni, they also offer an array of creative options. You can indulge in unique flavor combinations such as roasted yam with applewood bacon and fried sage, or caramelized pear topped with blue cheese and arugula. The only drawback of Otto's is the seating situation. With no tables and only a small bench area that accommodates a maximum of four people, it can feel a bit cramped and lacks a cozy atmosphere. Therefore, while Otto's excels in flavor, it’s often best enjoyed as takeout. Despite this, I truly love Otto's and am always eager to support it, especially given its very reasonable prices!

We’re visiting from Florida, but all of us have such a love for Boston and were so excited to finally be here. After driving 5 hours (with traffic! from Philly, we checked into our hotel and looked for something nearby to eat. Otto’s Pizza by the Armory Street stop seemed like the best option, we walked about 12 minutes, and now I can truly say it was worth every step. The food was great, the view was nice, the game was playing on the TV, but what really made the experience special was Jose. Otto’s isn’t a full-service restaurant — it’s more of a kiosk setup and Jose was the only person working the front. He was taking our order (for 11 people — two families! , helping with drinks, answering questions, and doing it all with such patience and kindness. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure everyone was taken care of. At one point, my dad’s pizza was taking a little longer, and Jose came over and gently said, “I’m so sorry! we were out of pineapple, so I ran to the store really quick to get some.” My dad told him he didn’t have to do that, that we could’ve picked something else, and Jose just smiled and said, “No, it’s honestly one of our best pizzas, and I really wanted you to try it.” That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. He didn’t have to do any of that, but he chose to and it showed just how much pride he takes in his work and in treating people well. Also, a big shoutout to the person working hard in the back making all the fresh pizzas and everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. Together, they made our first night in Boston feel really warm and welcoming. Thank you, Jose. You’re not just great at your job , you’re a genuinely good person, and we appreciate you! This “pizza” was truly the worst pizza I have ever had. I am usually pretty agreeable and rarely ever call anything bad, but this was a poor excuse to call something pizza. The crust was droopy and extremely thin, there was ZERO sauce on our pizza, and the biggest indicator: My fiancé and I had hit the pen and only finished half the pizza. If I know it’s bad then, I can’t imagine how disappointed I would’ve normally been. The cherry on top was the fact that it was $32. Save yourself the disappointment and money and just go to Pizza Hut or some other pizza chain. Service: Dine in Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
