What User likes about Monk's Cell:
The look of an old style “public house / restaurant / bar” outside and inside drew us to this nice little place on Beacon Street in Brookline, and the food made us glad it did. There were indoor and outdoor seats and a mixture of families, couples and groups of students when we visited for lunch. Transfer You don't have your hard-earned money at the Publick House in Brookline. The bartender and manager are terribly rude. I'll never go there again. Make yourself a favor instead and go over the street to The Abbey where the service is always professional and the food never disappointed. View all feedback.
