What Jie Z doesn't like about Lamei Hot Pot:
The portion sizes were extremely small, and the overall cost was quite expensive. Despite ordering more than $140 worth of food for the two of us, we still left feeling unsatisfied. Moreover, the air conditioner was leaking water, and I ended up with a wet shoulder during the meal. On top of that, the tomato soup didn't taste fresh and appeared to have artificial coloring added to it. We had a disappointing experienc... View all feedback.
I just tried LaMei for the first time and I don’t think I’ll ever go to another hot pot place again. LaMei is the best! Great service and quality meats and veggies. Their spicy broth is ACTUALLY spicy. Good vibes all around.Shout out to Tai for making this the best hot pot experience I’ve ever had. He even made me and my friends a sauce to try.
2nd time there. Excellent fast service. Waitress made excellent recommendations and when asked, mixed a much better dipping sauce than I could have come up with. everything was delicious and we left feeling very satisfied. I recommend mixing up veggies, noodles and meat. The first time we didn't do any noodles and I thing it's a nice change to the other stuff.Vegetarian options: You could very easily make this a delicious vegetarian meal.
The staff were helpful with suggestions and very patient as well. There's many delicious classic hot pot options. The spice and broth is very tastefully done, not just flat flavor. Food came pretty quickly, and the atmosphere is perfect hot pot atmosphere. The bathrooms were very nice as well.Vegetarian options: They were good.
It’s an extremely tasty hot pot that you’ll find difficult to stop eating!I loved their condiments counter: it has everything from chili oil to peanut sauce.I also loved their menu which has a lot of variety for hot pot additions. One suggestion though is to give a little flexible to customers for ordering whatever they want. We were a group of 9 and wanted to go with drinks first the server told us that’s not possible and we should order a hotpot first.Secondly, the coat hanging area can get quickly congested in winters, maybe you guys should try to address that and expand it somewhere else (since it in the path for customers and servers .I loved all the food here and so did all other 8 folks in my group. There’s parking outside the restaurant on street which makes it convenient if you get one.I highly recommend this hotpot place for anyone looking for it! :
Took my mom to have her first hot pot here and it was amazing! Tai was an awesome waiter and showed us how to cook the ingredients and make our sauce. Everything is fresh and incredibly tasty. Highly recommend for anyone in the Boston area who likes hot pot :
