The food is consistently delicious- and not at all greasy, even for breakfast food! Absolutely horrible experience here. I went here yesterday and received burnt food that was not what we had ordered. We talked to the manager and got yelled at because we ordered too much food (we ordered 2 meals and substituted one item for a pancake, the store also had only one other table). We ordered a very large amount of breakfast wraps and home fries for an early morning meeting. HUGE wraps all individually wrapped and delicious. Everyone raved about the taste of everything. The owner was gracious and Lori the server was super from the phone call to order, confirmation and ensuring we had everything we needed. We will definitely order again for a meeting and come in outside of work. Can't wait to try more on the menu. Thank you so much from all of us.
Me and my father used to come here every weekend but then we come in waited way to long for are food they were to busy serving uber and door dash so now there walk in customers are not getting served. After i walk and ask where are food is they rush cook it and are toast was burnt are sauseges were under cooked Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: CA$30–40
I needed a breakfast place that was open at 6 AM, yes 6 AM. This is one of the only breakfast restaurants in Durham open at that time, not including Tim Hortons, McDonald's, etc... The place is brightly lit with yellow painted walls. It's clean and neat. Coffee came fast and hot, wasn't half way through my first cup before I was asked if I wanted more. That's always good. I ordered Eggs Benedict with peameal bacon and homefries, with extra hollandaise sauce on the homefries. The breakfast was plentiful, hot and tasty. The hollandaise sauce is a little different than most diners around here, with slight possibily curry flavor. Homefries were deep fried, crispy and we'll seasoned. The eggs were softer than medium but still good. Coffee was refilled many times and was good. I have to say my server who was also the cook was very nice and pleasant. Very attentive and helpful. I'd recommend iDaybreak Grill for anyone wanting good food and even better value.
Went there for my birthday brunch. Service was excellent, the food came quickly and was great. Simple place, but satsfying. Large hearty portions for great prices! Highly recommend! Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: CA$10–20
