Pizza King - Brookings

Always great pizza. I've got a couple of half bags to come home later.

State Special pizza is my favorite, I get that one every time. I recommend Pizza King to everyone.

We ordered delivery. We were told it would be a long wait, but it actually came pretty quickly. This pizza is absolutely what pizza should be! Both pies were perfect and still piping hot. Big kudos to the kitchen staff tonight!

They like their pizza thin, crispy, overcooked, light on cheese and blande, then they will love pizza king.

The pizza itself may be rather nice, with a thin crust, plenty of cheese, and not too much sauce. I wanted to love it and give it a 5 because so many people rave about it, but I've only had it twice and it's been inconsistent. Both times, the atmosphere felt unpleasant, and it's not the most user-friendly place to buy pizza. There are no to-go drinks, no cards accepted, and the interaction is quite direct both indoors and over the phone. I get that when you're busy, time is money, and not everyone is happy, and credit card processing fees drive up rates, but it almost feels like you get what you pay for when it comes to your reputation. I'll give them another chance to persuade me that this is true.
