Old Market - Brookings

We are in town for a work trip and found this place through Google. Like another critic said, it doesn't look super impressive from the outside, but once inside we loved the vibe. Our service was great! Only a handful of beer on tap, but they had all standards available in bottles. Everyone was also happy with their food.

What a wonderful find! Our granddaughter is a student in Ashland and we drove down to visit her. She had heard good things about this restaurant, so we tried! Great move! The food was great.. I had a chef salad that was so fresh and so much I took half of it home! My husband had the recommended Ruebin sandwich that was so good. Our Granddaughter had a grilled Italian sub-sandwich huge and tasty. Our server was Vicki who was super friendly and helpful! Next time we're back!

My wife and I have been here about three times in the past month. Every time it has been great! At first we were a little bit leery about going to a pub since neither of us drink, but no one there has made us feel weird about it LOL. Everyone has been nothing but friendly and the food has been awesome.

Super good food. Decent service most of the time. Not always open the times Google and Facebook say they are which is a tad annoying when the trips already been made. But hey, there's always things people can work on. Will be back for the taste of the foods sake!

I relied on other reviews that mentioned the exterior wasn't much to look at, but it was definitely worth a visit. The parking lot was full, but there was plenty of space inside. It felt like a welcoming local pub where it seemed like almost everyone knew each other. The food portions were generous and the quality was good, plus the beer was nice and cold!
