Micro Doughnuts - Brookings

Best donuts in town, made fresh per order besides the few pre-made ones.

Went in and was floored by the cost. You'd think a shop with micro doughnuts half-dollar size) in a college town would be around ¢25 each. But no, it's a dollar for a single doughnut and a little cheaper each for 1/2 doz and dozen. Why??? Maybe if you got special toppings and made it look all fancy, but a dipped or sugar doughnut that small is not worth it.The Macro doughnuts regular size) are double the cost, but 4x the size. That's also bit too much too. If you want better pricing, go to Flyboy doughnuts in Sioux Falls. They are both amazing and decently priced. The doughnuts here are good, but I think it would be better to produce and price sugar/cinnamon like the booths at the state fair- $6 for a bag roughly 20 doughnuts) and $10 for a bucket ~40). Advertise them on campus and you're likely to get more business from people who can afford them...
