I'm not sure if there's a new owner or if they've just hired better staff, but WOW, what an improvement since 2021! The coffee tasted much better, the staff was knowledgeable, and the oat milk is homemade. Both the oat milk latte and breve were made perfectly, which was a huge upgrade from my last visit. This was my first and last visit to this place! I wanted to support a local coffee stand instead of dealing with the rising prices at Dutch Bros. What really frustrated me is that Cosmic Grind doesn't advertise or mention that they charge an extra $0.75 for flavored ice breves. 5 stars!!! Admittedly I am skeptical of little drive thru coffee shops like this. I get worried they won't have sugar free flavors or it won't be as good as the chains. Not here!! They have many sugars free flavors, their ratio of coffee-flavors-cream is on point AND they offer a CBD option!! Can't get that at DB!! They have sweet treats packaged up and ready for purchase and the barista had a very cool/chill vibe. Thank you!
Not another drive-thru coffee place! I was looking for a place to get an afternoon coffee, maybe sit and watch the world go by as I drank it. Apparently, I was going to be disappointed when I saw Cosmic Grind was not a walk in, sit down place. But I was wrong, so wrong! Sure I stayed in my car, but the barista was so good natured and the Mexican mocha (decaf, no whipped cream) was so good tasting! I'm not disappointed, I'm happy. This place is worth going to again and again. Although it would be nice if you could read the menu before you get to the window. And if there was a menu of all the specials. I only knew to order the Mexican coffee from reading a review while waiting in the car line.
I got a caramel frappe and it was really good. And we got our drinks a lot quicker than some of the other places. Also you are able to add mushrooms to your drinks, so if you're into that it's the only coffee shop I've seen that does that.
0 stars for the worst boba tea I've ever had. 5 stars for the sweet barista, and hoping the coffee is good...never tried. That boba must have been sitting there for days, boba must be fresh daily! I tossed my $12 order because it was so old and globby.
