Chan's Chinese American is a cozy little spot on the outskirts of Oregon. They offer about 3-4 vegan options, all listed in a separate section of the menu. I tried the Szechuan veggies with white rice, and it was probably the best Chinese food I've had since going vegan. If you're nostalgic for those lazy Chinese takeout days that are hard to come by now, Chan's will definitely satisfy your cravings. Just a heads up—... View all feedback.
What Glen Nimukunda doesn't like about Chan's:
The young woman at the counter said she was not vegan so she can't know if any items are vegan and that she's sure that any of the vegetarian items would be okay. Luckily, a cook was over and said they weren't, but he could make us vegan food. Steamed vegetables. That's it. Thanks for trying? View all feedback.
Chans Chinese American is a local small holding point on the way through the edge of oregon. they have about 3 4 vegan option separate category in the menu. I went the with schezuan veggies white rice was probably the best Chinese I went since the vegan. if they lack these lazy Chinese training days that they no longer really get, chans will gladly satisfy their taste buds. p.s – they had no suppe that was vegan, but they still offered me suppe with my meal, so they just make sure that they don't eat it unless, of course, they now have a vegan suppe.
They have an excellent Szechuan sauce and an excellent kung Pao sauce both are vegan. So all they have to do is not ask a flesh and the tofu is fantastic.
The young woman at the counter mentioned that she isn’t vegan, so she couldn’t confirm if any of the items are vegan. However, she was confident that the vegetarian options should be fine. Luckily, a cook was nearby and clarified that the vegetarian items aren’t vegan, but he offered to prepare some steamed vegetables for us. That's all we ended up with. Thank you for trying, I suppose.

Just a heads up—they didn't have any vegan soup available, but the server still offered me soup with my meal, so be sure to skip it unless, of course, they happen to have a vegan option now.
They offer an outstanding Szechuan sauce and a fantastic Kung Pao sauce, both of which are vegan. Just request your dish without meat, and the tofu is amazing.
