Black Trumpet Bistro In Brook

Through the double doors on the right, you'll find a unique place to enjoy great food and good company. The pork belly was tender and flavorful. STEAK!! The ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium rare. It was tender and so juicy. The prices were spendy. However, I have zero buyers remorse. The one complaint I have would be is that the temperature was a bit stuffy. I will be coming back.

During our stay in Brookings we ate there 3 times in a row! And one evening brought along our visiting friends too! Best (maybe only? upscale food in town with diversified menu for every taste. Just wishing the wonderful cheesecake had a shortbread type crust instead of yucky Graham cracker. Reservations are a must since it's a small restaurant so a bit crowded when at full capacity. They have a very nice outdoor seating area that allows dogs, but it's picnic benches and not comfortable at all. Wishing they had tables and chairs instead. We'll be back during our next visit to Brookings!
