I recently went to Black Pearl in Birmingham and it was outstanding. The Mongolian Beef was flavorful, the dumplings were a delight, and the Egg Drop Soup was perfectly seasoned. General Tso’s chicken: excellent. Mongolian beef 80% onions. Beef and broccoli: so so. Honey chicken: fried batter made soggy by drenching honey sauce, only flavor is sweet. Fried eggroll: the worst, supermarket frozen food section quality. Much better places to get your Chinese food fix in Birmingham. View all feedback.

The Singapore chicken chao mei fun was delicious! I plan to be back soon.

Nice place for takeout chinese-american or Thai. The red curry is great.
