Despite a few standout employees and great food, Vistamar seems to struggle with consistency and customer satisfaction. Prices are on the higher side, making the overall experience less than ideal for some patrons. If looking for a beautiful setting and good food, Vistamar may be worth a visit, but be prepared for potential service hiccups.
Sharing my recent experience at Vistamar, and I must express some concerns that I hope you will address for the benefit of your patrons. The primary reason for choosing Vistamar was the desire to enjoy both the dining experience and the entertainment area. Regrettably, upon arrival, our group was disappointed to learn that that we were unable to choose the entertainment area as intended. Clear communication or an option to reserve this area would greatly enhance the overall customer experience. Moreover, during my visit, there were noticeable service issues that impacted the enjoyment of the evening. Didn't even know who the watier was and he hardly came back ot take care of our group of 18. The lack of inquiry about smoking preferences, the absence of an open bar for drinks, and slow service without any offers for water or additional beverages were aspects that stood out negatively. Asked for a diet coke and it took three times to ask and recieving it an hour later. Furthermore, the restaurant did not appear to be kid-friendly, and the absence of English music and all the music was in Spanish did not allow for this ot be an inclusive. This contributed to an environment that didn't align with the expectations. Additionally, the quality of the kids' pizza fell short of expectations, resembling the type of pizza found in a school cafeteria rather than meeting the standards one would anticipate from a restaurant like Vistamar.
Encountered numerous issues at the restaurant. Despite reserving a table in the main dining area, I was informed upon arrival that it had been relocated to the back hall section. Despite expressing my early reservation, the manager cited overbooking and couldn't facilitate a change. Our order at 9:30pm went unfulfilled, leaving my diabetic father unwell due to the prolonged wait. Despite multiple inquiries, staff repeatedly claimed kitchen delays without resolution. This New Year's Eve was marred by discrimination and neglect, and I won't be returning to this establishment!!!
Always a pleasure to go back to vista for any celebration. Service is outstanding from the waitress to the owner. I had an issue with my party where I brought two extra people on my reservation. The waitress along with the manager went above and beyond to acomoda us in the same table I had.
Had a surprise party here for my dad's birthday. It was a little close to 30 people so the service was slow. I feel like companies need more servers with larger parties. Food was okay. It was a pre fixeIt took them so long to bring water, soda etc to the table. Everyone one complaining about being thirsty. The appetizers were good and food was okay. J May go back on a regular day with less people but I'm not pressed to go back anytime soon. Hopefully I have a better experience.
Perfect place for good food, drinks and entertainment. I went on a Saturday it felt like I was in a resort show.
