Our first time at this restaurant with friends, they have been there many times before, Saturday night very busy, but the staff seemed to cope. Our wet paint experience wasn't great We had zucchini flowers and bruschetta entrees, both were average affairs. Mains were lamb, eye fillet, Louisiana chicken. The chicken was fantastic beautifully cooked and stuffed with chick peas with a creamy paprika sauce this was the only dish with any depth of flavour. The steak was ok. The lamb was 2 bland fillets. This restaurant was disappointing from the word go. We had to wait 35 minutes before being able to order our meals and that was only because we stopped a waiter who was in transit to another table. This waiter (with a British Accent) was nice and accommodating and we were grateful to be able to order our meals. The food when it arrived was average and the specialty "Cajun Chicken" was unimpressive ...But the icing on the cake was to be told by another rude and arrogant waiter that we needed to keep the baby quiet ... this is in a restaurant that is soo noisy with the racket of diners reverberating everywhere that you can hardly hear yourself think. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and had decided to bring the two grandchildren along. One is a 3 year old who spent the whole night playing games on the phone and hardly uttered a word, and the other is a 6 month old who slept , woke up, gurgled a bit and breastfed a couple of times and yes he might have uttered an occasional sound as babies do. I have eaten in two hat restaurants that are more children friendly that Wet Paint. I will not be dining there again and certainly not recommending it to anyone as a restaurant worthy of a visit either for its culinary offerings or for its friendly and accommodating manner.
Perfect service , great food... doing it again definitly. The food menu will tempt all palates. A wonderful expetience.
This place is literally at top of my road but although I have heard great reviews just not got round to going!Visited tonight and was very impressed ) great steak and chicken and the pork belly San chow bow was incredible ! Great service too.
Ambience was nice (good to see full restaurants again after the COVID chaos). Service was friendly and pleasant. Food was hot, fast and beautifully presented. Well priced and great overall experience.
Nice suburban restaurant in Bronte. No wait for a table and friendly welcoming staff on arrival. It was busy this day but we still got a table with no wait. The menu is classic and the quality of the food is good.
