A beautifully appointed restaurant and one of our most... read more Passing through Bronte and looking for lunch on a Sunday. So delighted to have stumbled onto Protosteria. A beautifully appointed restaurant and one of our most memorable meals of our time in Sicily. Very kind and welcoming greeting. We had a small complementary taste of a wonderful soup of potato, pumpkin and chickpeas. The Degustazione Terra which had wonderful high quality ingredients the star for us was the Caponata, fresh mozzarella and mortadella with pistachio. The Rigatoni alla Norma was good, but the Quadrotti Pistacchio e Panno ravioli were the highlight. Very unique and exceptional. Truly enjoyed the house red wine. Everything was so good we started to eat before taking photos. Wish we could return.

I highly recommend this restaurant Be careful though, it's not really big and you might consider to book a table at night or in high season.
