Overall, the restaurant offers a picturesque setting with a variety of seating options. However, service was hit and miss, and some customers experienced long wait times for bill payments. The menu received mixed reviews, with criticism about limited vegan options and pricing of drinks. The staff, while friendly, were noted as slightly pushy at times. On the positive side, the restaurant was commended for delicious food, excellent service by staff like Mia, and a beautiful location near the canal. Despite some shortcomings, customers enjoyed their visits and would return in the future.

Good Sunday roast, efficient service, good atmosphere and reasonably priced as usual. My only comment was that the treacle tart was served with Greek yogurt (I hadn’t noticed when ordering). In my mind this is a definite ‘no no’, it spoilt the tart for me. I think it should have been served with custard, fresh cream or clotted cream.

We’ve been here a handful of times now. It’s situated half way between my family and some close friends. Consistent great food, selections of wine are always good, and the service is bang on.

We were sat in the marquee which is warm and beautiful. I had the crispy duck, poke bowl and treacle tart. Food was lovely. Staff were great.

A lovely visit for my birthday today. Great food, beautiful decor and a wonderful atmosphere. Really appreciated the option of a small plate meal. Great for people who can 't eat big meals, not many places offer this option so I was really happy to be able to have a smaller serving. Well worth a visit, and so beautiful by the canal on a sunny day. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
