What Jacob Davies doesn't like about Waitrose Cafe:
This restaurant is completely different from the previous cafe, which was open and bright. Unfortunately, the management has drained the life out of the restaurant. Considering how expensive it is now to enjoy a coffee and cake in one of the chain coffee houses, these days at around a fiver a pop to sit at often uncleared cluttered tables this is a refreshingly cheaper alternative. You can easily buy a pastry or cake and get a full size coffee for less than £1.50 using your Waitrose card (only once a day) or even less if you get a cut price cake at around 50p.
