This restaurant has generated a spectrum of experiences, particularly during significant occasions like wakes. While some patrons have praised the friendly atmosphere and accommodating staff, others have voiced disappointment over lackluster service and subpar food quality, especially given the emotional context of their visits. Complaints often include rude bar staff and inadequate preparations, overshadowing some positive remarks about its comfortable setting and variety of ales. Despite its potential as a community hub, consistency in service and food remains a recurring concern, leaving guests divided on their overall impressions. Visitors are urged to approach with caution.

an ingenious pub with many strings to his arch. since retiring early it was a very friendly, more comfortable place. always very clean and spacious. the boss is very accommodating when I want to see football darts or the tracking. the bar staff are native, so there is a family feel at the place. What Anonym dislikes about The Graces Grill:
I used to come here years ago but it seems friendlier now. They let me in an hour before they officially opened. That was a kindness as I am going to a funeral and really could use the Dutch courage. Nice terrace, nice single malt just wish I was here for a nicer reason. View all feedback.

They try so hard to create what the community wants and should be praised for their efforts. it is a simple place to fit exactly in the mood. there is no obvious unpleasant clique they find in some pubs. the chef nim and his choice of people to work there is very good in that. they also offer daily fresh cooked food to fantastic trips. a real gem of a place. highly recommended.

The groove trader love graces bar! very friendly bar staff. a great mood and place to play live music

Our first visit and saw our friend playing music on the last Saturday. beautiful and friendly and easy on the wallet in comparison to some venues. we were very welcome and will be back. a little jewel of an orte.

Went for a wake, close to beckenham crematorium, hired the function room. Sandwiches and picky food were ok but not worth the amount they charge, staff very moody no condolences etc. Music was awful.

I have been to this restaurant three times - once during a live band performance, once for a drink, and once for a wake. I have never felt welcomed and there is a strange atmosphere. I do not plan on returning. During the wake, we arrived at a nearly empty pub and were seated at two tables in the middle, lacking privacy. The only coffee available was instant, which was disappointing. There was a mix-up and no food had been prepared for us. The staff were unsympathetic and unhelpful. We finished our drinks and left, as some of the group were upset. We then went to the Elm Tree down the road, where we were well taken care of, enjoyed good food, and received great service.
