The first night I had shrimp and grits which was really good, but after I sampled my husband's catfish, I had to go back for my own. They had such fresh and full fish fillets! Original tarter sauce and seasoned to perfection and the perfect french fries! I couldn't get enough!

The calamari portion was great, but they were too chewy. I think they overcooked them, so it was like rubber. The shrimp and grits were pretty good. I think they could season the shrimp more, but overall I was pleased with the plate. It didn?t lack flavor, and the portion is pretty large. I think you can really get a good bang for your buck here. All the meals are reasonably priced and portioned well. We also received good service for a party of 7. The server brought out a complimentary brownie dessert with a candle for my friend's birthday, which was a nice added touch. I will now make this a go-to when I visit the cabins.

The steak was quite good, earning an 8 out of 10, while the garlic mashed potatoes also impressed me with an 8 out of 10. However, the asparagus fell a bit short at 6 out of 10. My wife opted for a filet along with a loaded baked potato and a house salad. Her steak was excellent, receiving a 9 out of 10, the potato was rated 8 out of 10, and the salad was well-portioned with all the right toppings. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, which enhanced our dining experience. Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Hochatown.

The alcoholic drinks were notably strong, so if you enjoy a hearty beverage, they really shine in that category! I had the Louisiana pasta, which was exceptional— the shrimp were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. Overall, it was definitely a worthwhile visit for a delightful dinner experience.
