The decor is in desperate need of refurbishment, with service and food reliability needing improvement. However, the garden area offers a pleasant escape, complemented by a selection of well-kept beers and hearty meals, including a noteworthy Sunday roast. Despite its evident potential, competition from nearby alternatives and a fluctuating pub market pose challenges. For those nearby, it may be worth a visit, but expectations should be tempered.

Rude landlord, unfriendly and unhelpful. Clearly in the wrong business!
Definitely overpriced, went to a different local pub further up the road for cheaper drinks.. went from £4.45 to £3.15 for the same amount
