We had a fantastic lunch at Mamasan on Sunday. The food was excellent, and our drinks arrived just minutes after we ordered. The timing was perfect, as our edam... read more We had a fantastic lunch at Mamasan on Sunday. The food was excellent, and our drinks arrived just minutes after we ordered. The timing was perfect, as our edamame came out right when our beers did, which is quite rare on the Gold Coast. We tried the ocean trout sashimi, wagyu bao, chicken wings, and beef tataki salad. Everything was delicious, but the Korean fried wings were definitely my favorite, even though they were one of the messiest things I've ever eaten. The ocean trout was also outstanding; the ponzu dressing made the fish roe incredibly tasty, and I couldn't resist eating all of them. The staff were wonderful—very friendly and attentive. One staff member was so stealthy, I didn't even notice her approaching! Highly recommended!

Candice and Tee were exceptional waitresses. It’s rare to find a place where both the service and the food are so impressive. Great job, Mamasan!
