Mostly fresh fishes, especially the fatty ones. The fatty ones are very buttery in texture. The lunch menu is different from the sushi menu but you can still ask for and order from the sushi menu. The preparation and presentation of their sushi pieces is very nice. The spring roll appetizer is great. Omakase is worth it. When you order, specify less or no wasabi if you don't like it. Milk tea is decent. View all feedback.
What Robert A doesn't like about U-gu:
Sushi bowl was great, service was typical low key Asian, and they cannot split a check in half. I asked the server if the pork buns were rice or wheat. Her suggestion: worried about gluten, then don't eat these. Hmm, why not just ask the chef? View all feedback.
Best place in the neighborhood. Delicious food all around.
Portion are tiny and doesn’t correlate with the prices — I never leave here feeling full and I weigh 90 pounds.

The worst ramen I’ve ever had in my life. So disappointing. It was literally corn and noodles, 1 egg and 4 small shrimps and water with salt. Tasteless. It’s a disrespect to the idea of ramen. And the cherry on top — we paid 18 dollars for that ramen (the total check was 88 dollars).
The best sushi place in all the neighborhood. I’m so glad we have this as an option!
