Toscana 49 - Broad Channel

This was the perfect NY Italian dinner experience! The food was flavorful, cooked with care and more delicious with each bite. I don’t normally rave about salad, but my side salad was exquisitely fresh, drizzled with tasty dressing and an unexpected treat. You don’t have to have the newest and latest trendy new recipes, just cook with care and talent, and the old favorites shine like new.

We all had different entrees but they were all delicious. Fettuccini with lamb ragu, bronzino, chicken with sausage and peppers. Also had the caprese and the eggplant appetizers also good. Desserts were moist and we all enjoyed them. We'll be coming here again.

Everything was great with exception of the host. He was far from welcoming and even though I reserved a standard table, he seemed very annoyed that I was a single and took me to the bar. The upside was that the bartender was great, food was great, value was great.
