I’ve frequented this bar often. I ordered a round of drinks and paid in cash. The bartender provided me the incorrect change. I turned my back for two seconds to count my change and allow the next person to order their drink. Realizing the bartender shorted me ten dollars. I brought it to their attention. The drinks aren’t that expensive. Mainly pop music if you wanna dance. It’s in a great area, a lot to do around.
Amazing bar with a great atmosphere and solid historical vibes!
I didn’t want to give this bar 1 star. A friend of mine for 20 years invited me out with a group of her friends for me to meet because they were having the piano singing session. The night was fine until we went upstairs for the piano session. I decided to sing a few songs but while I was singing, I had Caucasian males and a female disrupting my singing because I was wearing a Kanye West shirt. Historic, mostly low-key, but always worth it to visit if you’ve never been.
Our first time at Stonewall was one we will never forget. Christy and Carlos were excellent bartenders who felt like friends and the atmosphere and music selection was perfect. Thank you for the fun. We will definitely be back!
