A rising star! The Omakase was delicious, with fresh and curated fish. Alex the host made us feel at home from start and the chef interacted with us while doing his magic. This is a nice place to go in couples or groups. We were a group of 8, and it was unanimous how amazing this experience was. You must give it a try View all feedback.
What Sharon Tsao doesn't like about Sushi Yolo:
The seafood was very good quality, which I loved. I felt like the rice was a huge let down which is why I’m giving the food a 3. It was slightly soggy, and didn’t seem to have enough vinegar. View all feedback.

Lovely, intimate omakase dining experience. Incredible food quality in a welcoming and laid back setting. I will definitely return.

Is 6 stars an option?! Been all over the world (including Japan), and this is still my favorite omakase experience. Stayed in NY for 2 months and went here 3 times. Chef and staff are personable and welcoming. Fish and rice are top class. I’m leaving this review 1 year after my last visit since I miss this place so much. I’ll be back… Michelin is written in Sushi Yolo’s stars.
Walked a mile for this place because they were open so late. Got here at 10 and they say they closed already and did not let us in. Says they are open until 11.
