I highly recommend making a reservation for dine-in. I was able to nab a spot for the same day, and when I arrived at 6 pm, I overheard the host saying to walk-in customers that the next available opening was at 9 pm. Master class on how to serve fresh and tasty sushi at a competitive price point. Talk about bang for your buck. If you’re not feeling sushi, try the tempura udon. Its chewy noodles are a fun contrast to the crunchy shrimp and veggie tempura. The broth is satisfying in its simple and refreshing flavor profile. Sushi Yasaka should be a staple institution for any sushi lover in NYC.

This is my favorite sushi place for this price point. Everything is super fresh and delicious. I’ve been coming here for many years and have never been disappointed, unless they have no room to seat walk ins. Make a reservations for all times, lunch and early dinner including. They get packed! They have great lunch specials and All of their appetizers are delicious. Bring your appetite!!
