Located on Valley Rd in Stirling, it was a long ride from where we live but I had to go. I remember when Blimpies first opened decades ago as the one of the first sub sandwich chains. They're still as good as before, the subs are tasty and have plenty of substance not just a few pieces of meat like some of the other chains. I visited this location twice. The first time, I ordered a tuna sandwich, which was decent. The second time, however, as I was prepared to order, I saw the array of lettuce, tomato, etc. that were being used on the sandwiches, and they all looked like they should have been discarded at least a day earlier. I left before placing a second order and I will never return. View all feedback.
This restaurant is called Blimpie, and they offer some excellent subs at great prices. The smoothies are particularly delicious and definitely worth trying. I hope you all get the chance to visit and enjoy your experience!
I visited this restaurant twice. On my first visit, I ordered a tuna sandwich, which was acceptable. However, on my second visit, as I was getting ready to order, I took a look at the selection of lettuce, tomatoes, and other toppings for the sandwiches. They all appeared as if they should have been thrown out at least a day prior. I decided to leave without placing my order, and I won't be coming back again.
The smoothies were awful! Save your time and money and avoid this place! It's a clear example of misleading advertising!
Situated on Valley Rd in Stirling, it was quite a trek from our home, but I felt it was worth it. I have fond memories of when Blimpies first opened decades ago as one of the original sub sandwich chains. I'm pleased to say that their subs are just as delicious as I remember, packed with flavor and generously filled—not just a few slices of meat like some other places. The staff was welcoming, and while the prices were a bit higher than what was listed on their website, they were still reasonable.
This restaurant is called Blimpie. They offer really delicious subs at great prices. You definitely need to try the smoothies—they're fantastic! I hope you all visit and have a wonderful time.
