If you’re considering SHINN EAST, I’d recommend visiting their other location SHINN WEST instead. From my experience, SHINN WEST has better service, quality, ingredients, and atmosphere. What Tiff Liao doesn't like about Shinn East:
The fish is pre-cut and each piece is barked at you. That's the extent of the dining experience. After your last course, they start slicing up for the next seating and audibly slapping it on a tray in front of you. Just not what an omakase experience is supposed to be, regardless of price. If you want under $100 omakase, Sushi by M is a much better experience. View all feedback.
The food was amazing but there were couple things i wanted to note. Google map said this place opened at 1. When we got there at 1 the place appeared opened but server said their rice wasn’t ready and they didn’t open until 2 which i thought was confusing. Server was not the most friendly either. We did omakase togo and it was amazing for the price. Would go there again

Amazing omakase at an affordable price without sacrificing quality.this omakase bar has everything a more expensive experience would have, at the counter ambiance and delicious pieces of nigiri.the only downside that it is slightly more rushed (1 hour dining).
First time trying Omakase and I must say I quite enjoyed it and the experience. Definitely would come here again because at $69 a person you are getting a delicious and peaceful experience.
Can’t fault this place, literally everything is perfect. Fresh delicious fish, attentive and detail orientated service, such a quality experience, can’t wait to go back!
