I had an iced coffee with oat milk (delicious, standard) and the goat cheese and herb omlette and it was DELICIOUS. The little side salad was also seasoned and delicious. Both had dill added and I love dill so I'm biased. Also, the staff was super nice! The only down side to it is the space is a little awkward to move through for fat people (I'm mid size and had to push tables to get in and out but I made it work) View all feedback.
What ez does things doesn't like about Plein Air:
Ive eaten here a few times and the food is fine , very simple concept thats executed fairly well. the atmosphere is so intense and unbearable. ive seen the chef yell at staff during the middle of service in a very confined space multiple times. staff seems generally anxious and the middle aged woman , who i assume owns the place, is equally critical of the staff , as if they're being surveilled. will not return View all feedback.
Stopped by for a Sunday afternoon snack and coffee on a rainy day. This place is so cozy with great music and beautiful lighting (they have a skylight). The servers were so friendly and attentive. We shared a French onion soup (4/5) and an oma cheese plate (5/5). The cheese was so freaking delicious, I think it was one of my favorite cheeses I've ever tasted. We also got a maple latte (3.5/5) and an apple pear tart (3.5/5).Overall I had a great experience here and would love to go back.
Cozy and small local spot. Drinks were spot on and the food was great and not pretentious. Service was warm and inviting. I would definitely stop by again next time I’m in Ridgewood.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent atmosphere.

Aside from making great cappuccino, you can trust this place for delicious breakfast. From sandwiches to omelettes, they do it so perfectly. I have yet to try their dinner but it's safe to assume that it'll be a win. Can't wait to go back!
