Went to this absolutely awesome restaurant looking at reviews here. Did not disappoint at all. The food was so good, we went back a second time in our 3 day stay in NYC for the Marathon. The staff was friendly and fast. The owner was also present and he is so polite and even threw in some goodies for us to take home. Definitely will visit when we are back in NYC. View all feedback.

My first visit to Omar's was 2 weeks ago and I was just passing by, thought the food looked good, and thought I would try it. Took the Chicken shawarma pita home with me. It was delicious. Today I walked 1.5 miles out of my way to satisfy my craving for another. I was not disappointed. Favorite Mediterranean food in NYC — just insanely good!
One of the best Greek restaurants I've ever been to. If you are in the mood for Greek at a reasonable price there is no better place in the city. Always worth it.
