A great property, located right next to the terminals at New York's LaGuardia airport. Good rooms, food options, frequent shuttles to airport and even a convenience store in lobby. Highly recommended. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about New York Laguardia Airport Marriott:
Place seems nice from the outside and the lobby. However, staff is creepy and the beds are disgusting. Five minutes after checking in and going to my room, staff attempted to barge in to “check the fire alarms”. Without knocking, three men attempted to open the doors, but luckily we had dead bolted it upon entry. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located near the airport. The fitness center was decent, though I had hoped to find a Peloton available. The breakfast left something to be desired for the price. It was disappointing that espresso drinks were not included with the cost of the warm buffet. Adding that option would only cost the hotel a small amount and would greatly enhance customer satisfaction. Overall, the rooms were excellent: 5/5.
The restaurant's layout was a bit unusual, as it was situated in the hotel lobby. Despite this, the food was outstanding. I enjoyed buffalo wings, onion soup, and a shrimp po' boy, while my mom had vegetable soup and basmati rice. We both found our meals delicious—the buffalo wings were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The servers were friendly and attentive, but I do have a couple of suggestions: when serving food and drinks, it's important to also provide napkins and straws. During dinner, I ordered a Diet Pepsi but received it in a very small glass and had to ask for four refills. Breakfast was decent; I particularly loved the crispy bacon, but the eggs looked watery. At lunch, I was surprised to receive a large glass of soda, wondering why I hadn’t been offered this earlier. The menu for both lunch and dinner was the same, which was disappointing since there were no breakfast options like omelets. I can’t imagine staying multiple nights with such limited menu choices. To make the hotel more engaging, they should consider hosting cocktail nights. Overall, while the hotel experience was good, it didn't quite meet five-star expectations. Additionally, I was told I needed to go down to the front desk to pick up a travel toothbrush, as they couldn't deliver it to my room. Communication was a bit challenging, as the housekeeping staff and servers spoke very little English, which was frustrating when we needed assistance.
When we finally got to our room, we had to carry all our luggage ourselves. The next morning at breakfast, we were met with rudeness and told that we were not allowed to eat because our stay didn’t include breakfast. We explained that breakfast was part of our booking, but my parents had to go back to our room to retrieve our itinerary to prove it. Once they saw it, all they said was, “Oh, you have breakfast—please hurry in!” There was no apology or courtesy, and it’s frustrating that they didn’t have that information readily available in their system when we checked in. I had heard this hotel was one of the best, but my experience was far from that. It was way too expensive for the lack of service and support, and it really put a damper on our first day in the States after a long time. I'll definitely be looking for other options next time. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place was not worth the price or the peace of mind.

Attached is a picture shown of a comforter in the right lighting to show that every inch of each comforter that I checked was covered in dirt and seemingly mold spores. If you want to stay here due to convenience, go ahead, but I would recommend bringing an air mattress and your own sheets and blankets. Absolutely disgusting to charge hundreds of dollars a night to sleep in this filth. Do better, Marriott.
