10/10 experience here highly recommend to anyone who enjoys sushi, this place is the best I?ve had. We started with the Shishito peppers and the spicy tuna dip with crunch chips (so good), then got the signature combo (I hear this is what you need to get if it?s your first time to the spot), and ended with the the cookie which was fresh out of the oven and tasted like what we made at home with family.
What User doesn't like about Nami Nori:
I was really excited for this place and it simply missed the mark. First off, it's really easy to pass by it if you don't know the exact address (236). I came with a friend and we sat at the counter inside. The inside decor and setup was modern, clean, and welcoming. The waitress was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Despite the ambiance and staff being incredible, the drinks and food fell flat. We shared the calamar... View all feedback.
Love the style of this sushi place. Reminds me a lot of sushi by m. Step aside Fushimi there is a new better sushi spot in north Brooklyn. Definitely will be a regular here. Also pretty affordable, though I went a bit overboard on sake on my last visit.
No matter how many times I came, I never tired of eating here. High quality of food, amazing balanced and flavored dishes, cool staffs. Can't be more happy. Try their Nani Nori Salad, I'm not a big salad person but love it so much. And the fish skin chip, the dip just so delicious.
A modern, casual Japanese fusion restaurant with notable flavor combinations from the Temaki counter. Everything is gluten-free. Extensive appetizers run the gamut here, but entrees are only hand rolls. Get the coconut shrimp with green curry, lime cilantro. Do not miss dessert. The mochi/churros in lemon curd are excellent. A design-forward Williamsburg space follows the successful West Village location. Now open for lunch and brunch.
My newly wedded wife was pleased with this one. So was I. Really. Fa real. This is great!!! Take the Signature set. Full stop. And the spicy tuna dip. Mmm. And the potato salad. She seemed less annoyed with me after the 2nd drink as well. Btw I don't like scallops nor shrimp but still love the signature set. Don't do the vegan dessert... it's not good.
Yes, the reviews are correct. A bit pricey but This is the place to go. Reserve the table ahead because you would end up waiting for a table over 1-3 hrs. Temaki sushi at this place is chef?s kiss ?????????????. (Highly recommended) try the coconut tempura thingy
