First time in New York and this place was great, the chicken soup was delicious and filling. The staff was super friendly, even when we were loud lol. I would totally recommend (Traducido por Google) Primera vez en Nueva York y este lugar fue genial, la sopa de pollo estaba deliciosa y abundante. El personal fue muy amable, incluso cuando estábamos ruidosos jajaja. Lo recomiendo totalmente View all feedback.
What Kimberly K doesn't like about Mi Nidito:
Be forewarned. There is expensive in New York and there is overpaying for poor quality food. I don’t come to a Mexican restaurant and expect to have Basmati rice or poorly prepared meat, nor a sour mix-based margarita. This food would barely be passable at 18 dollars per person let alone at 30-40 dollars per person. I won’t comment on service, just note the posted 20% gratuity plus 4% for card transactions. I usually don't write reviews for places I eat but this was something else. The food options was ok but WARNING : I ordered the combo on the menu said choose 2 or 3 so I picked 2. I picked 2 which is the burrito and tostada, when the food came the burrito was the size of regular taco normally burritos are a good size somewhat big and also filled with rice and beans and lettuce and cheese. There was only 5 pieces of pork inside and the beans and rice was on the side. This is not real Mexican food I've been to alot of Mexican food places and I paid 70+ dollars for 2 combos and I didn't even notice gratuity was include which was my fault for not read but the food overall was not good for what they charge and the place is small me personally not coming back for the amount I paid with 70+ dollars I can get so much more food at a authentic Mexican restaurant.
Went there for lunch, dog was running around inside the establishment. Chicken taco tasted off, refried beans weren’t cooked correctly.

Delicious. I'm from out of town so it was a bit pricey, but it's NYC so I feel like a similar place wouldn't be cheaper. But good food and good margaritas. Small portion of guac for the $12 it was, and fyi there's a LOT of cilantro and onion in it so if you're not a fan of either of those you probably wouldnt love it's luckily my friend and I like both. Got margs to go!!
Fantastic food, great atmosphere and exceptional service
