This was the perfect place to go on a rainy evening. No wait, authentic ramen, and friendly staff. Also very cheap compared to the more touristy places in NYC. I’d definitely go back. View all feedback.
What Samuel Y doesn't like about Lucky Cat:
We went to this place because Toto ramen was closed…saw the high rating so decided to give it a try. The seafood pancake was purely over cooked (black) dough with no seafood. Grilled squid is in fact microwaved squid. We ordered two ramens-the classic lucky cat ramen, which had a weird flavor…won’t ever go back again. View all feedback.

Love this place. Coming back tomorrow to see if Goku beats Vegeta. Also they have their own beer.
The atmosphere and drinks are good. Food is overpriced and lacking. Also, amount that was charged to my bank ultimately was $20 over what I jotted down on the check. First time getting scammed like that since I have started living in the city a few years ago. Edit: there are other reviews stating the same: the restaurant fraudulently increases the amount they bill you. AVOID!
I real gem. I go back and back and back and order something new every time. Very good, very authentic, lots of things we don't normally see in Japanese restaurants in NYC.
The food here is excellent every bowl is unique and has individual flavors that make coming back to try new things a treat every time.
