Great place to have breakfast and lunch by yourself or with a small group. LKF is a Hong Kong style diner with authentic dishes. Not as great as Hong Kong but a lot of the locals come here to eat. They have HK breakfast specials for $6 and noodle dishes for $14. The Singapore chow mei fun is pretty good and not spicy. View all feedback.
What Alex L doesn't like about Lan Kwai Fong Cafe:
This place is already famous for long wait for your food, but tonight is different. I wanted to order pork chop with black pepper sauce, but the black pepper sauce ran out. I wanted to order chicken wings, but the chicken wings ran out. I wanted to order red bean ice, but the ice machine broke. Finally, I got mixed grill spaghetti with tomato sauce and fried fish and fries. When the food came, the mixed grill spaghet... View all feedback.

Lan Kwai Fong (LKF) is a famous area in Hong Kong for hawkers to gather and sell hot and cold food. LKF captures the taste and flavors of Hong Kong. The dishes are bold and seasoned to wake up your all your senses. If you can wait to have lunch a little later. They have daily specials that run between 2 5pm. So you can save a few dollars Notable dishes: 1. Chicken with black pepper sauce and spaghetti. The pepper has a nice kick and they use thigh meat . The pepper sauce is on the soupy side and I would have preferred a thicker consistency, but the flavor is banging on all cylinders. 2. Beef chow fun The noodles perfectly seasoned with tender cuts of steak 3. Beef noodle soup with wonton The beef tendon is moist and stewed soft and palatable. The wonton is perfect and tasty and the broth flavorful 4. Fried fish with cream of corn on rice fish is moist and the creamy corn sauce is a perfect combination that works well 5. Sacha beef with rice The Sacha sauce seasons the beef and vegetables for a delicious rice dish. Have some Hong Kong style tea to wash everything down. Parking is a bit of a challenge as parking spots on Roosevelt Ave is usually all taken, but you'll find parking near by. Definitely worth the trip in to try LKF. You will not be disappointed. Update 07/04/2021 My Yelp Bud Amy M. informed me they have a few parking spots in the back of the restaurant. Thanks Amy.
One of my family's favorite HK Style restaurants. Very close to home, free parking in the rear and the workers are very friendly. The food also tastes good every time we tried something new. Sometimes they can get very busy and will take awhile to get to you so you have to get their attention. Also they do run out of a lot of items during peak times. They have breakfast specials for a good price and comes with a drink or for an extra charge of $1 for some cold drinks. They have a section on the menu that is only Chinese, wished they had it in English so I can order from their instead of having to have it translated when I'm with my parents. Some items are only available to be ordered during certain times so check the menu before hand. You can always order on the phone for take out and coming in for pick up.
This location has been closed … unfortunately seems like they relocated to somewhere within Flushing.
