La Rosa Chicken Grill Guyon Avenue

Very good chicken. Might be the best I had in a while.

AMAZING Hands down BEST “La Rosa” on Staten Island. I get their fried spicy chicken sandwich and it is 1,000,000,000 better then Popeyes. Fresh ingredients, chicken is always freshly cooked and their service is so friendly. My son will not allow me to order anything else while I’m the area. The restaurant is so clean and organized and the service is very fast and polite.

I was a loyal customer when the Guyon Avenue location first opened. The food was amazing and the staff (minus ome curmudgeon old man) was great. Over time the location quickly fell off. The food became awful and the menu changes were ill advised. The people answering the phone can only be described as idiotic. On a few occasions people in the room with me stared in disbelief at the difficulty while I tried to phone in my order. Sure I could try using the app but the stupidity of the people answering the phone is indicative of how poorly prepared the food is. I hate to be sexist but men can’t take orders over the phone to save their lives. It’s sad to see how bad this place has gotten. The staff has done a horrible job in maintaining any kind of quality. Avoid this location at all costs. I can’t personally speak for the other franchises but this one clearly has a disconnect on what’s to be expected from the brand. F

I absolutely love it a clean restaurant sit in is amazing service I went in yesterday there was an amazing boy and girl who seemed to have a bond we were looking to try something new cause we always get the roasted chicken and they gave us pointers and got there favorites and I have to say definitely 10/10 absolutely amazing and they definitely clean up after that old staff that was pervious
