4 stars edit to 1 star. I’ve visited enough time to now to reduce 4star review to 1 star. Most of recent visit being tonight on blanc de noir reservation only “event.” Only 2 BTG options for the so-called blanc noir event. Given the lack of decent options, I ended up ordering a bottle from regular champagne list. I didn’t order food, but they still charged “kitchen fee.” Additionally, Given the lack of staff or attentive service, they could’ve left a bucket per table for folks who ordered bot … – show. This is one of my favorite wine bars in nyc! We visit regularly and have always had great service who are knowledgeable and friendly. However it seems like the quality of staff has dropped recently. Last night we had an extremely rude bartender who wasn’t willing to explain the wines, was super abrupt taking our order, and overall unpleasant and didn’t seem like she wanted to be there.
