Nice, classic long wooden style bar. Didn't check out the patio due to weather but hope to soon. No liquor though! Finally made it back! Had a great English breakfast there and split the avocado toast. Very filling. The restaurant was full yet it wasn't boisterous. A really relaxed, conversational atmosphere which was appreciated. The dining area was lovely and the service matched the quality of the food View all feedback.
What J B doesn't like about Jones Wood Foundry:
Great neighborhood vibe and service. Average food and cocktails. Our food was overcooked. It wasn't very tasty either. Our drinks were bland. Nothing exciting to drink. View all feedback.
There aren't many notable british restaurants in nyc, but this is one of them. A great laid back atmosphere, cool interior, and great food make this a must stop. Fish and chips is so easy to do lazily, but they really nail it. A terrific filet of fresh fish is the basis for the dish, and the fry is crispy, flavorful, but not overpowering. The fries are top notch. Other dishes also hit well. There's a nice bar space upfront to hang out, but the majority of the restaurant is separate from that a … – show
Brunch drinks were bad, do not order the **** Mary or mimosa. Food wasn’t that great either.
Food and service excellence. The outside area was very sad and barren looking and we were there for my birthday. Needed to eat there as my 93 year old mom uses a walker
Great English breakfast and fish Chips. English beer on tap, including classics like fullers and old speckled hen.
Such a cozy english place. We had the Shepard's pie and seared salmon. Loved the food and the ambience. Great for a family lunch or dinner. We haven't tried their weekend bruch yet, but I'm sure it would not disappoint.
